What a merchant nets, charge by charge.
All figures are pre-tax. Stripe processing fees vary by country and payment method; Eliopi's fee is the line marked in green.
Stripe processing fees retained by Stripe on a refunded charge are not returned to the merchant. This is Stripe's policy, not Eliopi's; we mirror it transparently. See Stripe pricing for current rates by country and method.

Eliopi does not earn a margin on Stripe processing fees. The figures below are indicative; current rates are governed by your Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

Pricing questions.
Do you charge a setup fee or monthly minimum?
No. Starter plan has zero recurring cost; you pay only the application fee on successful charges. Scale plan negotiated rates apply to ongoing volume only — no commitment, no exit fee.
What happens to your fee on a refund?
When a merchant refunds a charge, Stripe automatically returns Eliopi's application fee proportionally to the connected merchant account (we use Stripe's refund_application_fee=true). Stripe's processing fee is not returned — that's Stripe's policy, not Eliopi's.
What happens to your fee on a chargeback?
If a dispute is lost, Stripe debits the platform balance for the disputed amount + dispute fee. Eliopi reverses the corresponding transfer to the connected merchant; the application fee is reversed back to the merchant. Net effect: the merchant absorbs the disputed amount and Stripe's dispute fee; Eliopi does not retain its application fee on a lost dispute.
Are there any other fees?
No hidden percentages. The only Eliopi-side cost is the application fee per successful charge. Stripe-side costs (processing, dispute, currency conversion, instant payout) are pass-through and visible in your Stripe dashboard.
How will I move from Starter to Scale pricing?
Once Eliopi is live and your processing crosses ~$250k/month, write to contact@eliopi.com and we'll set up a 30-minute call to right-size the application fee for your volume and vertical. Pricing changes will apply via Stripe at the next charge after the new schedule is signed.
